Last Night Recap
Last night we had six games and all of them were on the league pass.
First we have the Dallas Mavericks against the Philadelphia 76ers. At one point Dallas was leading by 17 points and they looked like they were going to have an easy win against the worst team in the NBA. It didn't look like that with the final score being 92-86.
The second game of the night was for me the best of the night. The Indiana Pacers against the Chicago Bulls gave us a nail bitter game and it looks like D-Rose is going to be out for at least one game. This game went to the last possession to determine the winner of it and the Chicago Bulls made the right moves and came out with the victory (96-95)
Now we move to the Celtics-Rockets game, which it was a BIG win (111-95) by Boston and they might had put Kevin McHale in the hot seat. Isaiah Thomas was impressive in the win with 26 points and 6 assists.
This game should had been put at least on NBA TV. Two playoffs teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies are always a good matchup and they didn't disappoint. Memphis came out with the victory (122-114) in a high score game. OKC played without Kevin Durant.
The only highlight of the Portland-San Antonio game was the big dunk of Kawhi Leonard over Mason Plumlee. The Spurs were better than the Blazers last night and they came out with the victory (93-80).
Six and last game of the night. The LA Lakers against the Phoenix Suns wasn't the best attractive game to watch, but the Phoenix Suns are showing a good young team with the mix of veterans. The Phoenix Suns came out with the victory (120-101) and Brandon Knight added a Triple-Double with 30 points 15 assists and 10 rebounds.

2015 World Series Game 5
Game 5 of the World Series in Queens, New York. Yeah the World Series returned to New York but to Queens not the Bronx. This was a must win game for the New York Mets who were trailing in the series 3-1 against the Kansas City Royals. The next two games would have been in Kansas City and the best way to go back to Missouri was with a victory in your hometown to gain back that confidence that brought the New York Mets to the World Series. The Mets started the game with the right foot with Curtis
Granderson hitting a home run in the 1st inning against the dominican Edison Volquez. Volquez manage to allow only 2 runs in his time at the mound. Actually he escaped from a bases loaded, no outs inning and just allowing 1 run.
Matt Harvey was on point with his pitches and striking out everyone who faced him. It looked like the Mets were on rout to extend the series until the 9th inning started. Lorenzo Cain was at the plate and he managed to hit a single and later in that inning steal 2nd base against Travis d'Arnaud who wasn't very effective making the throw to second base. Later that inning Eric Hosmer connected a double to left field that brought the first run for the Royals and still no outs in the inning. Game 2-1. A game that looked secure for the Mets with a Matt Harvey on point, Terry Collins made the decision to bring in the closer, Jeurys Familia who had blown 3 saves in the World Series. The next batter was Mike Moustakas and he hit a ground ball to first base and Hosmer moved to third base with 1 out. Next at bat was Salvador Perez who connected also a ground ball to third base and David Wright made the decision to throw to first base and Eric Hosmer took advantage of Wright's decision, put his head down and took off straight to home plate and scored the the second run for the Royals and brought total silence to all Mets fans at Citi Field. Game 2-2. We got ourselves a new ballgame and free baseball with the extra innings.
The Royals and Mets couldn't capitalize in the 10th and 11th inning leaving us with the 12th inning with a new pitcher for the Mets and Salvador Perez at the plate. Perez managed to get himself on board and Ned Yost brought a pinch runner, Jarrod Dyson, for Salvador. With Alex Gordon at the plate, Dyson stole second base and later Gordon hit a ground ball sending Dyson to third preparing the scene for Christian Colón. Colón hit an RBI single in the top of the 12th inning with a 1-2 count giving the Royals the lead. Christian Colón, naturally from Cayey, Puerto Rico, hadn't played in all the postseason and he responded in the clutch when his team needed him more. After that it was a Kansas City party scoring 4 more runs and increasing the lead to 7-2. At the bottom of the 12th inning it looked like that only people at the park was the Kansas City team and the fans that went to support them. It was total silence in City Field and the Kansas City Royals were about to become world champions for the first time in 30 years.
